Beautiful, I'll never chose to hand make most of the decorations in a wedding ever again!!! But it did pay off.
Aw.....I love the look on Tom's face.

Sigh, I'm surrounded by beautiful people....the nuptuals gang. Kinda looks like some GAP add or something. Kudos to my wonderful mother for designing and sewing the dresses.

Last Sunday, September 3 marked me and Tom's first year of marriage. It's been a very difficult year and a lot of milestones, and learning opportunities, and all that fun stuff that usually happens the first year of marriage, but all in all it's been awesome, and I really wouldn't trade it for anything! SO I figured I'd share a few pics of our wedding day.
We decided to go out to the Keg for dinner, which was really good. Their Mango Time slushy margarita things are positively breathtaking. They even ended up giving us a free desert too, so mocha ice cream mudpie thing which was scrumptious. Then off to my parent's for ice cream cake with the family (I know, 2 deserts, but it's my anniversary, so back off! ;o)) I'm SO excited for October b/c we are planning on taking a trip to Victoria, and hangin' out for a week, so that's going to be a well-deserved vacation for the both of us. |

Seeing those pics brings back so many great memories. How fun & exciting was your wedding day? You and Tom looked amazing. And I looked amazing. ;) You know what? Our first year of marriage was pretty much as bad as your first year. But I think that if you can get through a year like that, you can get through anything. I'm prediciting a long and happy marriage for you both. :) And hey! You're going on a mini vacay? Cool!

Congradulations on your one year anniversary. You don't know me, but I know Tom from Bible College. Plus you read my sister's blog and comment all the time. I have a friend named Tennille and I thought this was her blog and then I saw the picture. And I was like, hey that's not my tennille but Tom's Tennille and I know Tom. How crazy is that? Small world. (My sister is Dawn Block if you were wondering). Anywho, Congrats!!! You two look sooo cute together!
