  • Serenity....True or False?
    Wednesday, August 09, 2006

It funny how a picture can say different things to different people. Like this picture to me says total serenity, and peace. Somewhere I would go in my mind for a little "virtual escape" if you will (I've visited here many a time in the past couple days!). However, to one of my coworkers, it's a place of turmoil, and alienation. I don't know, I just found that interesting.
I've always been fascinated by dreams. Not necessarily what they mean, because, let's face it, we can blame a bad dream on the demonic forces, or 'fess up to the couple pieces of cheese and pepperoni pizza we happened in indulge in before going to bed that night. For me personally, I haven't really been able to remember my dreams as of late, and it's kinda weird b/c they were always so vivid until about 2 years ago. Of course they were mostly horrible dreams that I wished I could've forgotten, but nonetheless, I remembered them. Like dreaming that your mother-in-law turned in to a schitzophrenic drug addict who obeyed the voices in her head telling her to kill you? Yeah, mentally mixing work, and family lives just isn't a good idea for me. Don't worry, I have a wonderful mother-in-law, she would never do anything like that, and no, she is not schitzophrenic.
There have been great ones though, such as Tom and I going on a nice long vacation with Johnny Depp, and his significant other Paradis, you know, dreams you don't want to wake up from? One reaccuring dream is where I'm a pilot and I'm flying this huge plane (however it's empty) and the engines blow out or something, and I end up crashing into our church (I know, I know, but come on, it's not like I can control what happens in my subconsious), I've tried to analyze it, but my efforts have, for the most part, been in vain. But don't worry, I won't go all terroristic on anyone and high jack a plane and crash it into the church or anything, so no one panic.
So anyway, open up your dreams files, and share what's in all your twisted psyches. Let's get it all out in the open, if nothing else but for the shere entertainment of it. :o) (What's with the blue font? Blue symbolizes the "dream world" to me, kinda, I don't know, whatever.)

      hey tennille...

dreams are fascinating aren't they? like entering a secret dream world every night.... good for escape. like your own personal movies. i love those dreams that seem so deep and so real that you're left feeling like you actually visited some other place as you go on throughout the day.

i've sort of given up dream analysing too. for as long as i can remember i've been taught that every dream means something spiritual. exhausting! i think if anything there are ways to interpret things about yourSELF that your SELF is telling you from certain dreams... and OCCASIONALLY god stuff. who knows though? and who cares? dreams are cool!

I have lots of dreams every night, but the one I remember from last night was so frustrating. It was the first day of school, we were living in some strange new house in a strange town and Paige missed the bus. So we were running all through this park, trying to find a way to our car so that I could drive her to school. Totally whack! I guess I did too much running around in the hay field yesterday...hee, hee.

That's funny because I had a weird one the other day and I was thinking about blogging it. Maybe I will now.
